Nēmalds!

Nēmalds!

Nēmalds is visiting the day centre every day. In the beginning, he was a shy and quiet guy, but as the time passed, he has become more talkative and has opened up to the visitors of the centre. His mom is his biggest supporter.
He loves to spend his time doing pottery, candle casting and felting. He also does not mind helping with housework. He has created about five felt hats, although his favourite thing to do is to cast various types of candles to form unique patterns. He definitely will not throw the candles in the bowl carelessly, but accurately places each piece in the right place. There is no one more accurate and pedantic candle maker in the day centre than Nēmalds! He says that he would love to compete with someone in the candle casting, but there is no other competitor! He also loves to take part in dancing and drama classes. His dancing partner is Patrīcija. They have performed their staged dance performances at Ogre, Madona and Ziemeļblāzma cultural centres. During summer Nēmalds enjoys spending his time outside and picking wild berries such as blueberries, lingonberries and cranberries. He loves to visit his father at the countryside in Kalvene parish where they have created a beautiful orchard. He greatly appreciates family gatherings on his godfather's birthday and on Latvian commemorative cemetery ritual days.
He also is very hardworking and at home he helps with chopping and stacking the firewood as well as bringing water from the well. He ends his story by saying that he willingly listens to any advice to make his work and personality more beautiful.
