Ojārs!

Ojārs!

Ojārs has been working with the association Cerību spārni (Wings of Hope) and the social enterprise Visi var (Everyone Can) since 2013. There have been some employment gaps, but he has always eagerly returned to the sewing machine. Under the leadership of sewer Oksana, he learned the basics of sewing and the associated skills since he had never done it before. During his youth, Ojārs obtained the Installer and Regulator of Electronic Hardware qualification. However, it is true that with time, the demand for this trade has lessened, and he has also forgotten some of the skills he learned back then.
Ojārs was eager to learn new work skills and learned the basics of sewing with joy. He mainly works with denim, sewing bags and bedspreads from it, which he is really good at. He also makes shopping bags and autumn hats for children and adults. He also takes orders for repairing clothing for the company SIA POLIGONS 1, which offers recreational services. Ojārs does not talk much; he carries out his work in silence, occasionally glancing up at what his female colleagues are doing. He's the only gentleman at the sewing shop, a fact which draws the attention of all the ladies there.
Ojārs has a son and a daughter, as well as two grandchildren. He loves to visit the beach in the summer and enjoy the sun together with his daughter's family. But when he wishes to spoil his grandchildren a little bit, he is said to make the best pancakes. Ojārs loves Christmas and his favourite season is spring when everything blooms. Ojārs is also determined to sew a hat for both of his grandchildren using the new sewing machine he bought a little while ago.
We wish the craftsman good health and success at work!
