"Visi Var" PARTICIPATES IN THE INTERNATIONAL PROJECT "DISTILLATE TOMORROW" IN COPENHAGEN
From this g. 2.-6. On December 15, 2016, the cooperation project "Unraveling Tomorrow" was held in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, which was developed by 6 organizations from different European countries. "Social Innovation Center" is the cooperation partner of this project in Latvia, which provided participation in these trainings to 3 local social enterprises, i.e. see for the social enterprise "Visi Var".
As part of learning and exchanging experiences, the participants visited the Danish Design Center, where various innovative joint works are created and at the same time it serves as a meeting place for local companies. During these visits, the attendees were introduced to the founders of the co-creation studio "Let`sCo", Monika Havnø and Rie Maktabi, who on a daily basis develop modern and work-friendly equipment and environment designs for medical institutions. On the second day, the project participants went to the Danish Parliament, met with one of the founders of the "Alternativet" party and MP Rasmus Nordqvist and discussed the challenges of introducing changes or innovations in the political system. At the end of the day, we went to the Absalon Community Center, which organizes events for the local community in the former church premises. The training was valuable, as it gave a wider understanding of the possibilities of cooperation between non-governmental organizations, state administration and social enterprises, as it introduced methodologies that provide an opportunity for the co-creation of new ideas and forms of cooperation.
The training was implemented within the framework of the Unravel Tomorrow project (ID 2018-1-UK01-KA204-048180) with the support of Erasmus Plus +.
